And Then is Heard No More

I think this will be the last post here for a long while, if ever. One of the main reasons I started this blog was to remedy what certain people said was a flaw in my character: a lack of communication. Therefore I began communicating. But the response has been underwhelming, to say the least. And it seems that my opinions here have in fact cost me friends, or at least potential pen-pals. To the three people who’ve ever commented here with any frequency (you know who you are): thank you. To anyone else: don’t ever talk to me about communication or openness or honesty. If two years of shouting into the void on this site is going to get me net negative relationships, then screw it: I’ll be better off dissembling or simply saying nothing at all.

    I agree with Vera, don’t give up. However, even more importantly, I encourage you to seek out your motivation for this blog. And then make your decision after that. Also, I know that this sounds lame but I used to write so that people would read my entries and I would rate how well of an entre I wrote depening on how many comments I have but then I realized that that was lame of me. I write because I enjoy to write and because it is a good way to get your thoughts out. And, so I started writing for myself and now I enjoy it much much more. However, it was just a thought for you.

  4. I had hoped to make contact with like-minded people with whom I could discuss and debate, but since that hasn’t happened, I see no reason to continue.

    Your opinions are refreshing and entertaining. Your communication skills are just fine…
    DO keep writing. For the edification of the few,yes; but I agree with Beinta-do it for YOU. :)
