No, not that London. Went to London, Ontario to visit my sister Carolyn, who’s a first-year resident in Rural Family Practice there.

It was raining the whole time, so we didn’t get out much — we saw the Covent Garden Market, bought a new suitcase because mine was beginning to fall apart from the kind attentions of WestJet’s luggage handlers, and saw Finding Nemo.

I mentioned the lovely light from my office window the other day. Tonight there’s a complete double rainbow in the sky — two complete semicircles. The sky is a deep blue outside the inner bow, but inside it’s a glowing gold. The buildings and trees of Lougheed and Burnaby Mountain are glowing as well.

Yummy.
