It’s been two weeks. Ugh.<\/p>\n
Truth to tell, serotonin levels have been pretty low. It’s been all I could do to manage work. No energy for self-indulgent whinging. Some changes have been made, so I’m hoping things will be sunnier.<\/p>\n
Called an erstwhile friend last week — this is the last time, I swear, as they always beg off, promise to call back, and never do — and had nothing much to talk about. I happen to have been working on something interesting at work for the past little bit, but I really shouldn’t talk about it. And the “hurt my back and depressed most of the time” shtick gets old pretty quick.<\/p>\n
Took the SkyTrain to North Van yesterday to see the Caribbean festival. I guess I got there too early, as there wasn’t much going on. I was going to meet a friend there, but they were delayed, and I finally bailed, as I was getting a headache from the sun and the loud samba music. We did eventually hook up and catch Pirates again.<\/p>\n
Some parting thoughts: Why the hell is it so tricky to get a binary search working right? FS2004 should be out any day now.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
