Sweet Vindication

Turns out that sitting up straight is actually bad for your back.

This article confirms what I have been doing empirically for years. I pinched a nerve in my back when I was 19, and ever since then I’ve had recurring lower back pain. As I’m a programmer, this could be a problem. I found long ago that sitting in a “slouch” — with lower back support — is the best position for me to work in pain-free, and have continued to sit that way in defiance of therapists and busybodies ever since. Now I can have the last laugh!

Palestine: Facts not Slander

Alan Dershowitz reviews Jimmy Carter’s latest book, and doesn’t think much of it:

Mr. Carter’s book is so filled with simple mistakes of fact and deliberate omissions that were it a brief filed in a court of law, it would be struck and its author sanctioned for misleading the court.

Moderate Islam

There’s an article in the Tulsa, Oklahoma’s Tulsa World paper by a Muslim gentleman denouncing violence by Muslims.

He was kicked out of his local mosque, and threatened with, ironically enough, violence to his person.

Why should we continue to protest the stereotype of the violent Muslim when Muslims seem bent on perpetuating it themselves?

Um…

I don’t play chess worth a damn, and even I know buddy’s missing something:

Watch how Microsoft new operating system, ‘Vista,’ blatantly cheats when I finally have devised a strategy to win. First it was Windows XP’s solitaire, now its Microsoft’s Vista Chess Titans that cheats.

Watch the video. After I go, then Microsoft decides to makes TWO (2) moves at the SAME time… !
